St Anton
The Austrian St Anton ski-resort is a popular last-minute ski destination, which keep visitors coming back for more, year after year! Located at the base of the road up to the Arlberg pass, St Anton lies at the eastern side of a network of ski-lifts which connects as far as St Christoph and over the pass to Rauz and Stuben. The resort is a charming blend of modern and traditional structures sandwiched into a narrow valley near an old railway which contains a picturesque ice-rink and park.
Boasting tough off-slope runs for seasoned ski veterans as well as adventurous runs for intermediates locally and at nearby Zürs and Lech (both within close bus-ride distance). For aprés ski, there are numerous vibrant bars and discos which stay open until the early hours of 2/3am.The resort is lively and definitely a party location – not one for those expecting a quiet ski-trip on empty slopes!.
