Alpe d’Huez remains a popular last minute ski destination consistently, and is one of the oldest ski-resorts in France. The resort is linked to Oz-en-Oisans, Vaujany and Auris-en-Oisans. The resort has great allure for experienced skiers in the form of a 16km black run through the resort. The resort has a number of other runs suitable for skiers of all competency levels, from new through to advanced.
Shuttle buses are in operation in and around the resort, and these are free to holders of Visalp ski lift passes.
